Chreees
FINALLY had time to build my Fogger v4 RBA. Got it down to .8 ohms. Wasn't too hard- hardest part was trying to keep the coils where I wanted them after screwing them onto the posts- which was a pain in the ass in itself. Anyway, here's pics of my build- Coils finally on: Burning: Cotton on: Cotton wet so I could screw the chamber piece on: Voila! And proof it lives up to its name: And while I was at it, I rebuilt my TOBH Atty. Got it down to .8 ohms as well: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
â€On
Looks good dude! Only thing I noticed that's off is in that bottom pic it looks like the two coils have a different amount of wraps. Even one wrap can usually make one heat up noticeably faster than the other
Chreees
You're probably right. I did a pretty quick job with it. I'll probably go back and rebuild so they match. Overall though, I was satisfied with how they heated up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't consider myself a sub-ohm elitist or anything, but a few months ago I loved staying around the 0.8-0.6 ohm range, and now I rarely go above 0.5 ohms. I can still enjoy a 1.whatever coil, but I get true satisfaction around the 0.3 ohm resistance. Other than that your coils look good from what I can see! Keep trying new things! Chreees
Thanks. Yeah, I am finding the lower I go, the happier I get. I just found out what happened on my coils for the last pic for the Atty build. One of my wraps on the end somehow came undone. I'll have to fix that today sometime before I use it again. For today I'll be rocking the Fogger. :) Which is good because it looks like I'll be driving through a monsoon to work so dripping while driving would be quite difficult. Also, quick note about the Fogger wicking... I shouldn't have made the cotton as long, meaning it shouldn't be as deep in the channels. I am getting a dry hit if I chain vape, so after about 4-5 hits, I get a dry hit. I have to wait a minute before I can hit again. Looked it up and turns out the wicking is the reason. It should only be about halfway down the vertical part of the L-shaped channel. Just though I'd mention this in case anyone was unaware. I'll keep it as-is for now and just worry about it when I rewick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
â€On
Yeah, I feel like the biggest area that I have to learn more in is wicking, as it seems most problems are a result of bad wicking.

â€On
Looks good. Personally, I like faster/looser draw than that, but that's just me. I like to be able to basically just breathe in normally and exhale a thunderstorm.

I like to be able to basically just breathe in normally and exhale a thunderstorm. I just tried that (inhaling normally) and it seemed to put out about the same amount of vapor... Maybe I've been inhaling wrong all along?! I've got the airholes completely open, so it's definitely a loose draw. Guess I was just so used to my Aro tanks from before. How much did that cost? How much for refills on the juice?
Travis
You just refill it from a bottle of liquid, so however much your favorite brand runs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You disappeared for a moment. I have to see how you wicked that. You may also have a better version like a 4.4 apparently the v4 has had multiple iterations on the build. I just wish they'd put holes in a post like a damn dripper in a tank.

Here's everything I bought to get me into mechanical mods: -Nemesis Clone Mech Mod + TOBH Atty v2 atomizer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191224426366?var=490365099415&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 -Fogger v4 RBA: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281342986736?var=580374862245&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 -2 Sony batteries (I use one for 2 days, then swap it out with the other, keeping one on the charger at all times): http://www.ebay.com/itm/151328525849?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 -Battery charger that turns off when the battery is fully charged: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221270760556?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 -Micro torch (not necessary, as you can simply burn the coils once on the mod, but I find it to be easier sometimes to pre-torch before installing them): http://www.ebay.com/itm/111358755195?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Use organic cotton for wicking (can be found at Walgreens and other stores). For juice, I mainly use MountBakerVapor.com. They start at $4.99. I get it mixed Max VG, 3mg nicotine, and 2 extra flavor shots. Emulates hookah very well. But juice prices vary. I found MBV to be pretty much the best price for decent juice, why I go with them mostly. Here's how I wicked it, but next time I'm not going to have the cotton go down as far into the channels: And yeah, I read the same thing online about them having different versions of the v4. Whatever mine is, I guess it's a good one because so far, so good. I HATE having to install the coils onto the screw posts! So dumb that there are no holes. :wallbash:
DrSmokes
Damn, that's not bad man! Do you think it will cost more to vape or will it be cheaper than hookah?
Chreees
IMO, once you get the essentials (one mod, an RBA, an RDA, couple batteries, good battery charger, 100ft spool of kanthal, a large quantity of cotton), all you're really out for a long time is juice. I could vape 5ml probably a day if I chain-vaped, but usually I'd say I probably vape around 2ml a day, if that. That's mainly just me vaping at work. So $4.99 per 15ml from MBV, that's way cheaper than hookah tobacco, I think. Not to mention the essentials I listed cost less than the cost of one new hookah these days.
