freaduib
Whats the best way to pack the seisha in the bowl. I really like having thick smoke when i am smoking but i haven't been able to get that kind of smoke with my new hookah. Is there a certain technique to pack the bowl to get thicker smoke? Anpu
You'll have to mess around with it but pack it as tightly as you can without making it difficult to pull (without really restricting airflow). When you poke holes in your foil, poke them all the way to the bottom of the bowl then blow gently through the bottom when you're done. That should get you started. Direct heat is good. Just start up with coals slowly, don't add a bunch at the start. Keep putting on more (not a rediculous amount) to the point where you're not quite burning the shisha. More heat = more smoke as long as the bowl isn't packed overly loose.
SanguineSolitude
it puts the shisha in the bowl, it blows through the bottom to check air flow. it puts the foil on the bowl. its pokes the holes, and it places the bowl upon the hookah. freaduib
ok Anpu... that makes sense. Thanks for your help. I've been smoking hookah for a couple years now but this is the first time that I actually own one.
Anpu
No problem. I'd been smoking at lounges/out of friends' hookahs for months before I got my own (I was having great sessions all the time but when I got my own, never seemed to get it right). Took me 2 months (smoking my hookah maybe once a week) to figure out how to get clouds and flavor out of it.
