cloudlock64
So i live in the DFW (texas) area and i go to this little restruant that my parents friend owns called Ramallah cafe (off greenville, and buckingham) well anyways the main reason i go there is becuase of his argileh..I mean it pulls so great; I can just put my mout on the tip and not even suck and still get smoke out; and I envy his hookahs everytime i go over there not to mention he makes his own maasal. But nonethe less i want a hookah like the ones he has.. Their old school looking with a marble center.. and the metal it is made out of is VERRY heavy; not like the cheap ones you buy off website you can tell its heavy duty. Does anyone knowwhere i can get one like this from, he offered to sell me one for 40 dollars but i couldnt accept becuase he only has 8 and i didnt want to ruin the buisness of his restruant. Any hlep would be appreciated
Anpu
chances are, that if he offered to sell it, he wouldn't be runining his business and can probably get more. Have you asked him where he go them from? I'd accept if you really like his hookah that much. The manner in which the bowl is packed, water level, and hose diameter also have bearing on how light/heavy pull is on a hookah.
Skimo
yeah theres alot that goes into how the hookah will pull each session and like anpu said, if he offered to sell it to you it's prolly not going to ruin his business
EvansLight
description you gave alone really isnt enough. Next time you go if you take a pic of it, then we more than likely can tell ya what it is and where its from.

cloudlock64
ok, do you know where jasmines hoookah is at on main st? well you go down past jasmines till you get to greenville blvd. take a right on greenville and about a mile down the road you will see gas station attached to a lot of office looking buildings...on the front side where the gas station is at is a place called SALam foods, which sells hookahs of all kinds and supplys, then right next door to it there opening up a hookah lounge (went by there today and they should be opening up in a weeks time) . Well the place im talking about is on the other side of this building..it used to be some indian resturant but is now called ramallah cafe..give it a try, its very peacful to sit in there by yourself andtalk to the owner. Scalliwag
Dude, BUY IT!!! $40 for a damn good hookah and he will be okay or he would not have offered. Put it this way if it did hurt him then somewhere down the line other bad decisions would put him out of biz ya know? Plus it already sounds like you will be giving him business and sending business his way. I know I want to check the place out.
Sonthert
There actually the crummy Syrian/Turkish company that makes ones similar to that the are poor quality. Look at the hose port. Is it the same size as you are used to or smaller? Does the metal have a smell of steel? Smell the shank and inside the top and bottom of the shank.
