aronparsons
AF 2x apple isn't very good. Give Fumari 2x apple or Al Amir 2x apple a try; those are my two favorties and it's one of my favorite flavors.
Joseph
No matter what people say about the brand in general, Nakhla has the absolute best double apple,
cymptom
Indeed... Nakhla is the best Double Apple I've tried. AF seems like it's almost 100% anise.
MrMoodz
I enjoy the Nakhla Double Apple. Tangiers informed me that AF has been under new management for the past 4 months, so the shisha quality might have changed.
xpimpitox
agreed on the nakhla double apple! i have smoked a few brands of double apple (king moassel, nakhla, and al waha i think). and nakhla is the undisputed king of DA.
PersianPride
Double apple in general is a really bad concept and flavour.
[LB]
double apple is the standard shisha flavor- the first flavored shisha i think. I love my af dapple but it should just be called anise. If your not a person who likes licorice or anise then its not for you.
djbomberto
I like Al amir double apple.
Johnny_D
I think, espcially in the middle east, double apple tends to be the one that everyone tries first. I've said it once before, Nahkla (For me), is the taste of home and allways takes me back to Israel Mind you, the batch i have, is a tad overpowering on teh Anise. Joseph
There is no such thing as too much anise, I love that flavor, the more anise the better. How strong is Fumari double apple on the anise?
EvansLight
Don't really like double apple at all in any brand. I dont like licorice flavour at all really, expcept tangiers licorice, but thats just awesomnes. But from what ive had the romman double apple is pretty decent. Ill smoke it if others want, but for the most part i stay away from it.
PersianPride
I can only imagine how many people double apple has put off hookahs. Heres the basic scenario Joe Blogs hears all this crazy talk about a type of smoking where you taste fruity flavours and really smooth smoke. So he goes into a hookah lounge and sees this double apple flavour. Well he thinks to himself 'it must be a really intense apple flavour.' Then after smoking the vile anise flavour he decides that all those people talking about fruit and candy flavours are full of s*** and he never goes near a hookah ever again. As someone said it should be marketed as anise rather then double apple.
