Do you get dry mouth smoking??

I've noticed that I get a really dry mouth while smoking the hookah.I usually drink a beer while smoking and the dry mouth usually lasts all day and part of the next day after smoking.Do you have this problem??Any tips on how to combat this??

Never experienced this, and i smoke for a good hour every night.

Allthough i keep myself well hydrated during the sessions

Smoke dries out your lungs and mouth, so drink plenty of water.

I never get the dry-mouth but, enjoy good coffee while hookah(ing).

occasionally I do get dry mouth, but I always smoke with a beverage as well.

Hookah makes my mouth a bit dry, beer deffinitley won't help in the long run, try drinking a couple glasses of water with the hookah and beer. Alchohol dehydrates.

Not uncommon...keep your lips closed more when you draw through the hose. Many people who leave their lips slightly parted have a problem with the additional air drying their lips out. Or drink water, like they said.
