Bought my first hookah learned my first lesson

Wanted a mini hookah for my computer desk so I went to the smoke shop across the street and picked up a pumpkin hookah, went home rinsed everything down and proceeded to smoke, all I tasted was rust lol so I took it apart and checked the shaft.....first lesson inspect before purchasing, ofc the shop has a no refund/exchange policy.

Actually the first lesson is that pumpkins are 99% of the time a dud and complete waste of time and money... Should have checked in with us first

Yep, my surprise level is 0. Never seen a pumpkin that wasn't crap. It's a pretty good example of "you get what you pay for". I do believe that hookahs definitely have a point of diminishing returns, but the difference in quality between a $30 and $80 is big, and even bigger between a $30 and, say, $150 pipe. Not just in the quality of welds, but just in the materials themselves.

I'd recommend a Mya Petite if you're looking for something tiny, quality, and wont break the bank.

Just make sure you don't get any of the MYA Econo models, or you will run into similar issues.
