Highpockets
No, some people store their massel in the fridge. It'll be fine.
entrailsgalore
I dont think it was in there long enough to be ruined. Im sure you might notice a SLIGHT difference.

MR Bubble
I really think if it goes in the fridge BEFORE it's opened it will be good. However, I wouldn't put it in there after I open it, even if it's in a ziplock. That's when it'll dry out. MR Bubble
King Mo
I've recently started keeping the tobacco cold, and it's preserved it very well in my opinion. Best thing I've done, especially with the fakher. Just leave it for a few mins before you use it though for the temp to rise. Definately keeps it fresher for longer. Kofod
King Mo - remember when doing this to keep a constant temperature - else you will have an oscillating humidity and every time you will lose flavour from "flavoured moisture" going out and "unflavoured moisture" coming in again. So when decided to be cold - keep it cold. As for the unopened package of concern in this thread - I dont think it will have an effect - the constant condition rule only applies for opened tobacco (to some extend - dont go "temp. stressing" your new packets ). King Mo
@kofod, yeah thanks for the tip, I do pull out what I need to make the head then put it back in the fridge. I don't keep the whole thing out. I didn't put too much thought in the science of it, but your point makes perfect sense

Stuie
It should be fine, but don't keep in there. My mom ruined 2 pounds of my Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee doing that, my brother ruined his baccy the same way... fridges are evil!
