Ruined tobacco??

Recommended Posts

I've recently started keeping the tobacco cold, and it's preserved it very well in my opinion. Best thing I've done, especially with the fakher. Just leave it for a few mins before you use it though for the temp to rise.
Definately keeps it fresher for longer.

King Mo - remember when doing this to keep a constant temperature - else you will have an oscillating humidity and every time you will lose flavour from "flavoured moisture" going out and "unflavoured moisture" coming in again.
So when decided to be cold - keep it cold.
As for the unopened package of concern in this thread - I dont think it will have an effect - the constant condition rule only applies for opened tobacco (to some extend - dont go "temp. stressing" your new packets  ).

It should be fine, but don't keep in there. My mom ruined 2 pounds of my Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee doing that, my brother ruined his baccy the same way... fridges are evil!
