Thee Kings Charcoal - Holland??

My Three Kings Coal says on it that it's manufactured in Holland, but whenever I search for it online, I only get US sites that are selling it. Anyone know of distributers/suppliers that are actually based in Holland? Since the netherlands are in the EU, if we order from the UK we shouldn't have to pay any extra taxes - and shipping should be a lot cheaper.

cheers

I *THINK* that i get this at my local shop. 'Shepards in Colchester' It is manufatured in holland,
good coals, but does call it's self 'three kings'

What I have assumed is that it is re-branded in the USA.

If it helps i'll post some close up's of them when i get home (Sometime between 5-6).

If you've got a source in the UK thats even better! The ones I have (which I ordered from the US) are about 40mm in diameter, and come 10 in a pack. The usual ones you get in UK shops are made by 'swiftlite' or similar and are smaller (about 30mm). These ones aren't really meant for shisha smoking and hence may have a bad taste if you use them.

These are not swiftlite or anything similar. I'll post some pictures later, but they have a big 'MADE IN HOLLAND' stamp on the tube!

These are fairly expensive @ £2.00 for a roll of 10.

They do look similar - cheers for posting pics up. Could you measure the diameter of them?

2 quid each works out roughly the same as gettin them from the US (as part of a larger order). still, it's local though

Three kings come in two sizes, 40mm and a 33mm and are made in Holland. Three kings may have been fro incense and work fine for hookah, but I woudn;t trust just any incense coals. Some will put off way to much CO for hookah use, even if they taste fine. CO has no smell or taste.

o my god 4 bucks for one roll of that! in the states i can buy 44mm rolls in brooklyn for 1 dollar each. What i would suggest is get off your computer and start searching around your city (if you live in a city) for the arab/turkish/persian quarters of the city and befriend some of the locals.

EDIT: otherwise switch to natural coals, which you can get at any super market or make yourself. I always say this, im getting kind of repetetive, but the best coals in the WORLD are the hot embers that drop down from burning logs in your fire place.

Boxes of 100 wholesale for $7.99. Japanese charcoal was also intended for incense burners...I tried it, it didn't work so good. Natural coals have just as much or more sulfur as incense charcoal, so they aren't any better. All charcoal puts off CO. Some have chemicals added to reduce it.

Edit: they are indeed made in Holland and then in turn packaged separately, much like Japanese coal. I'm pretty sure. I wish I could search for Netherlands industrial companies like I can in US/Canadian Industry.
