Phunnel bowl doesn't fit (too small)

Hey there,

 

I am fairly new to the hookahworld but I know a thing or two.

 

I'll get straight to the point: I have bought an el Nefes phunnel Bowl and it doesn't fit on my hookah. I have bought the hookah in Turkey and the opening of the stem does not fit, it is too big for the phunnel bowl.

In the pictures you can see what I'm talking about.

 

I have contacted the webshop, which is the best supplied one in the Netherlands and they told me that if this one won't fit, none of them will. They have lots of Banned Vendor and Tangiers, so If anyone thinks otherwise, please do tell.

 

in the reviews everyone suggested to get a vortex mod with it as it is usually too big to fit otherwise, but my stem just said nope. The mod dances around in it freely.

 

Does anyone have similar experience of does anyone know a DIY way or anythint to solve this problem?

You've got a Turkish pipe, you'll need an adapter to fit the phunnel on there, since most pipes are "male" with the bowl fitting on over the pipes bowl port, while Turkish and some other pipes are generally "female", you use a bowl that fits inside the pipes bowl port.

DIY can  be done with 2 of those screw on bowl ports that you get on some pipes, and a quick weld or tape. then throw on a gasket on one end and you're done.

what about the clay ones made for elmas? maybe they would have some for sale and nargile store does ship out of germany doesnt it?
