Most brands you have to put it in the bowl less densely than it sits in the tub. You have to spread it out. Scalliwag Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 So here is what I have tried of Tangiers; Red Tea, Mint, Strawberry, and Kashmir Peach. All have been great, although I only use mint to add to other flavors because I do not like any brand I have tried of mint by itself but it mixes well. Another point I want to make is that Erica had a thread because she struggled getting Tangiers to smoke right and her and some of her buddies made a roadtrip to Tangiers, got a tour, watched him pack the bowls, smoked and now she is pretty sure she can do it at home now. Maybe she can convey in her own words how all that worked out but the bottom line is that it worked out for her and she enjoyed it. Not everybody has the option of driving there and getting first hand experience, but not everyone has needed it. Evanslight had trouble at first and got used to it. Sometimes the only thing being repeated is that some either don't like it or haven't figured it out and some people like it. Sometimes you should just agree to disagree and move on. Evans did not like the Red Tea, I liked it. He likes some of the other flavors. I am quite sure there are flavors I will try and won't like just like I am with food (pasta=YUCK to me and no one will convince my tastebuds otherwise! ) Things get way to personal and everybody has their views and yes we all repeat them, both the yays and the nays. At least if I get dragged to a Italian place I don't talk to the other patrons as though they are idiots for liking it ya know? IF you are referring to how many different packs, then it's the one 250g pack. I do not buy multiple packs of flavours I have not tried. If the question is regarding to how many heads? perhaps 8-10. Smoke them for about 45 mins each time, so I've given it plenty of chance. Something else should be on it's way along with the different bowls which may make a difference. Handbags at dawn! :-) I wish I blooming hadn't ordered any tangiers before reading this though! low humidity, high humidity, 1/3 of the heat, extra packed bowls, 'fat blob' bowls, funnel bowls, extra holes, cuddly toy. I think I'm going to go and order me some more Al Fakher and just err.... put it in a bowl with some foil and light it.
