LUXOR HOOKAHS
I've been using the pre cut (round) hookah chips. $3.00 for 100 - quick and easy

Best one's in the UK appear to be Here However I take it then are 'un-pricked' ? Is it worth the cost? LUXOR HOOKAHS
JD: The one's we get out here are "The Bird" brand from Syria. They are packaged -1 aluminum sheet -1 paper sheet. well worth the $3 we pay. No they are not pre punched with holes you punch your own in the patern you like. By the way, these come in thick or thin aluminum, I would suggest the thick.

Stereolab
I use regular foil, but i have never thought of folding it twice until i read it in this thread. But now i tried it and i'm smoking as we speak, and i must say there is i slite difference.. can't really put my finger on what the difference is though. When i have figured it out if its better or worse i will be back with an update
Stereolab
update: figured it out after the session, less smoke more flavour. but the increase in flavour wasn't that big, so i will go back to a single layer of foil, or maybe try with with more coal. Sonthert
Aluminum...never tin! Tin is bad. I prefer household foil...it is cheaper and doesn't tear as easily as hookah foil.

I hope thats not true since I do use household. Anyone else heard this or can prove this wrong?
LUXOR HOOKAHS
KiKal: The box of the pre cut aluminum reads "healthy aluminum chips". True or not who knows? Could be just a marketing ploy. It looks the same as houshold aluminum - shiney one side dull the other-.
Sonthert
Can you prove that John Lithgow isn't a crack whore? I say he is. Prove me wrong. I don't think anybody can prove that either the circles or the household foil is better or safer. Of course, if I was going to charge a premium price for precut pieces of foil, I would have to justify it somehow, right? Which additves, where? When someone is vague on specifics... "Oh yeah. I heard X...but I don't know why." They are usually full of it. The devil is in the details. That is, I'm sure that household foil is just as safe as hookah foil. You would be hard pressd to show that aluminum foil had anything dangerous associated with it and, more to the point, could you get that into your body, practically, through your normal hookah use?
