So, I recently tried AW pineapple. Wasn't a bad smoke, you guys should try it out. Tasty, has fairly thick clouds, lasted for a while.

My question to you guys is, what's the shisha you've gotten your best clouds off of?
I'm lookin for straight up covering your face/body in thick smoke :)

Btw, what company makes the best mint? And double or regular apple?

I think AW does a good job with smoke thickness, I use 2 quicklights and it gives me the best sessions ever. As far as mint Ive only had Romman Mint, it was pretty strong but if your looking for a strong mint flavor then its deff the way to go

*cough* romman is overpriced *cough*

Al Nahkla has a good mint and a good nana (they might be the same thing but they are good) go for it :)

Best smoke? Nahkla Cherry + Nana. 70/30. 1 + 1/2 quicklites, 2/3 water 1/3 concentrated cherry juice in the vase for thickness.

damn i remember that session.

Funny you mention that, yesterday I was at the mall and was debating between AW Pineapple & Mango. I chose the Mango as she said Mango and the peach were here favorites, and I already have plenty of peach.

So far I've always gotten a good volume of smoke out of AW (I've only tried the Mango & After Nine though)

From my experiences, I would have to say that I get the most in your face flavor and thick smoke out of Tangiers.

I've also been on a mint kick lately. Alot of people here use it as a mixer. But I"ve found that I like it as a mixer and all by itself. So far I've tried the AF, Havana & Tangiers.

I would recomend the AF & Havana if you are looking for a sweet candy like flavor and the Tangiers if you prefer natural mint flavor.

The only XX apple I've tried so far has been Nahkla and maybe it was in shock. It had the anise flavor everyone mentions but also had a burnt flavor to it as well :( Hopefully next time I try it, I'll enjoy it more.

The only regular apple I've tried has been AF apple. It was ok I couldn't get real thick smoke or apple a strong flavor though.

I would recomend that you try Layalina esk apple. It has a green apple flavor that tastes like green apple starburst candy, and I've heard that the AF golden esk apple is even better.

I hope this helps :D

the smoke is in the heat management. I have never had a tobacco I couldn't get good thick smoke out of. It's just that different brands take different amounts of heat. Experiment.

Al Ajmay and Al Amir have about the best ballenced apple/anise taste I've ever had.

Naklha is the old stand by.

Only tried one mint...cleared my sinuses alright..nto sur ehow it compares so I won't mention it.

also to add to mushrats post, thick smoke is also in the cold :D

Before you put on a wtf cap, if u didnt know the smoke you see is actually vaporized glycerin. Since your not actually burning plant matter, they add glycerin to give you the smoke you see. So how do you make thicker smoke? Well as mush said heat, that vaporizes more, but to get that vapor condesned into the lovely clouds, you need cold. Things like ice chambers, or ice water in the base, or sitting the base in a bucket of ice water, will condense more of the glycerin vapor and give you thicker smoke :D

Well El, Mr. Glycerin Pro huh, but I never thought about why the ice made it thicker haha, now I know. As for the Romman comments I totally agree, the only flavors I like are Double Apple and Mint, now im leaning towards Mint only

If you used foil, this wouldn't be an issue. :o

EL, if you keep calling me Mr. Puffy Pants, people will start calling me Mr. PP. Even my sense of humor isn't that good.
Hmmm well i guess i should order like a 5 50gram sampler thingy? or anyone know a good site that sells most of those flavors in 50gram packs so i could try them all out?

basically, whre do most of you order your shisha from?
Hookah Kings has the five 50g sampler packs.

I recently bought the AW Pineapple and I think it smelled faintly of cat shit but it tasted okay
i disagree with the whole ice in base thing ... i tried ice in base and ice water around base and to be honest with you the smoke was more enjoyable/thicker/flavorful without the ice!
I agree with this... Partially.

I think the cold water and ice do make a difference, but with ambient temperatures, warm smoke, it dosn't take long for the water to become room temperature. Especially when doing 2-3Hr smoke-a-thon's

Unless you guys are changing water during the session?
thats why i do the water around the base not in it. With it around it in a bucket you can easily keep adding ice and removing warm water :D

But it does thicken the smoke, cant deny science XD
You can tell EL's just got out of bed :P

Seriously though, nice idea evans, i like it. But it would be a tad
cumbersome and unsightly in one's front room.

Gotta make that A/C base some time :P

Check out Hookah Company they have shisha value pack samplers with 50g boxes of Layalina, Al Waha, Al Fakher & Al Ajamy.

They also have a very nice selection of single 50g boxes to choose from as well.
