The issue of Tangiers is almost self explainable so nobody really feels the need to explain why almost everybody talks about it. First of all EVERYBODY on this forum knows he makes shisha, and second he is an active forum member, not just a vendor who trys to push his product and does nothing else. Alot of people have been kicked for hookah hookah because thats the ONLY THING they talk about, im pretty sure a regular member isnt going to make every post about hookah hookah tobacco. skiracerj1 Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 The site seems to be down, but based on skimos comments it seems that they are railing against the forum again, which i suppose the have the right to do so, but why do they continue to advertise there magazine on the forum if all there gonna do is bash us, classy guys, real classy Edit: just read the article, and yet again its a snearing tounge firmly in cheek attack on the forum, whats worse the points they make have no real footing in fact. They claim that tangiers does nothing but use the forum to promote his product, when fact of the matter is i cant remember the last time he actually promoted his product on here, aside from free samples and helping people who have troubles with his tobacco. Also they make a point that "several" (5) people came forward complaining that they had been booted for no reason, including one of the hookah hookah reps. This guy must be a former speech writer for Bush because he twists things and makes such transparent lies. (sorry to bush supporters out there, i dont like him, but if u do I respect your opinion nonetheless) And on the topic of how the accuse us of being a sewing circle because we didnt write as many complaint letters to them, well I tried but your contact us page is down. So did you really get any emails at all? There is a mystery soemone who we booted for affiliation with HH, but they don't provide details, gotta be Caro. This is a set up by someone we pissed off...I'll be happy to supply IP info to folks as we start the great snark hunt..in the mean time...i suggest we ignore em. It seems like they originally really wanted to make sometihng awesome, but the way they conducted themselves was sketchy. Then boom they come on with this first issue and bash us. Then we take it bad, we also attack the fact that it was crapily made, looked just thrown together, was not even a true ezine, and blah blah blah. So they decide to bash us again. More than likely they wont answer any of these acusations, they will just keep bashing us on there blog, cause thats about all it is. Melissa must be his gf, perhaps his mama. I am a bit dissapointed to see some folks from here advertising on what is clearly something set up to Bash us... BTW...for the record, JD (Ravi) is the admin of .net and is not above putting soemthing like this together. And we did Ban him AGAIN when we redid the forum. He used to flood the old inboard chat with code to try to knock it down..... But then again....the "mystery" person we kicked for being with HH is also a good starting point....
