HollowEarth
My hookah has developed a fairly long, but thin, crack at the bottom of the base that leaks slightly and I cannot find a replacement base for it. So... I was wondering if anybody had any ideas to permanently fix this problem. Thanks!

Skimo
I had a hole in mine and I used epoxy, works great
OPR234
Epoxy might help the leak, but you will still have to handle it very, very gently. If this is a hookah you really like, maybe you could just get a new hookah to smoke out of and retire that one from use, to avoid potential accidents or whatever.. Hookahmania
8) epoxy is the shit, Used it to fix so much shit, and I once made a cool Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) skull cork for a bottle, it had a Sombrero and a cigar in its mouth, mounted it on a wine cork and glue gunned it on. it hardens fast, so mix a little at a time. That epoxy is unbreakable.
DizzyGuy
1 roll of duck tape. The entire roll. Just start wrapping the base and don't stop till the roll is gone. I guarentee that it won't leak.

[/quote]If it moves and it shoudn't, use duct tape. if it doesn't move and it should use WD-40. words to live by but anyway, my QT had a crack in it when i first got it and i just put a couple layers of super glue on it till the replacement arrived, worked pretty well and i did not have to look too far for super glue
