HAHkoo
my friend has a "disco-pumpkin" and its pretty rad like it does light up and they smoke good for a generic hookah. Like i recommend pumpkins as your first hookah (yenno something to just smoke)
Skimo
Ok I hate those hookahs, it was my first hookah and it was a peice of shit imo. It rusted really easy and the draw sucked, actually everything sucked from it lol, I really can't find one good thing to say about them, there is a reason they are giving them away lol
nuschultz
Not to mention the water level is fickle. too high and its in the hose.
Sparrows Wing
I thought they were giving away pumpkins because it was Halloween.

Joseph
IMO, small hookahs are definitley good first hookahs. Start traditional, then if you like modern go from there, but a traditional hookah is the bets to start.

YuoGotOwn3d
Yeah I bought this one lil dink called "Widow Hookah" I tried it out today and im a n00b with hookahs but ive been reading how to's and such. But the hookah seemed to smoke alright, no probs with water in the hose but I just had to get the right amt. of charcoal. Sucks lighting the fumari with a bic haha. When I have the money, I'll pick up something nicer.
Skimo
Yeah the pumpkin and widow are the same thing, and both are peices of shit imo, even for a noob, you should just buy a QT which is about the same prices and 10000000000000 times better

My qualm with the Stargate is that you don't have as much water in it and I hate getting it in the hose. Anyways, I incedentally just saw one of these, but green base, in the porn-shop-with-few-hookah-supplies today. Only $30 which surprized me, but I wouldn't suggest one of these from what I've read and seeing how small it is. If you like light up hookahs, the best one I've seen so far is the one at MNhookahs. No, I'm not trying to just pimp his site... but i like i because It's a bigger size. This is probably gonna be my next hookah, for use at parties and what not
Hookahmania
8) LOL, I was just gonna post the "free Pumpkin" deal for hookah-shisha-com, So im glad I don't have to now.
Joseph
I meant, small hookahs are deffinitley NOT good first hookahs, I just didn't type right. I agree with you dizzy, I just didn;t say it right.
clarity
ha last night my girlfriend actually told me she wanted one of these light up ones. she's probably going to end up getting a small one to start(its her first hookah), so what would anyone suggest? besides the obvious QT choice? TrevvTrevv
My first hookah was the Nile single hose from H-S, it hits great, and its a nice size. i would def recommend it for a first hookah

It's not as expensive as a QT and smokes like a champ. IT's how i got started and i still have a little one. JD
EvansLight
this is just another ploy to get ya to buy more XD but yea this hookah is just low quality, and poor smoke. Its too small i would say and restricts air flow. Just suck it up and get a qt, and a butt load of supplies, and get this one free. you will see the diffrence
MrMoodz
The pumpkin hookah is OK if you make a minor little modification to it. I suggest for anyone who owns a pumpkin hookah, to get yourself to a Home Depot and purchase some vinyl tubing (the see through kind). Bring the stem of the pumpkin hookah to the store to find a good fit of tubing. After you cut some of the tubing, you can fit the piece onto the stem of the pumpkin hookah to add on to the length. This way you can have a lower water level and increase the space of the smoke chamber. The tubing only costs $3. If anyone is living in Phoenix, AZ and wants a cheap little portable hookah, there's a shop at 7th street and Thunderbird that carries the pumpkin hookah for $15. Lukasa
I'd buy that light-up gimmicky hookah for 20 bucks. It seems like idiots at parties would love it, and i wouldnt be scared to lug it around, if it breaks, big fuckin' deal.

HAHkoo
being used. kinda tall. stem is super short i'd have to fill the base 5/8 full just to barely cover 1/4' of the stem and i have a little piece of rubber tubing on it to extend the stem about 2 cm out. and that sufficiently keeps the stem submerged. Macho555
WOW, when people said they were short, I had no idea it was to that extent. I'm glad I didn't buy that little one now. On that note, I wonder if the Social Smoke Minor has the same problem.
Skimo
Yeah its pretty short, although I thought the pumpkin and widow were the same thing, my widow had a smaller stem I think
