Tonight's session... portable range + jap coals

Ok... so my package from MNHookah didn't get here today... which is cool, I didn't have my hopes up too high... I just went and picked up a 50g pack of AW Strawberry. I just really REALLY wanted to try out the new hotplate thing... this one for those who didn't see in the other thread

So yeah, I bought a paving stone to go with the hot plate so it wouldn't mess up the carpet and what not worked pretty good. And no, there's nothing under the coil, it's just a reflection.

Here's my setup... Stargate, MYA wide hose, Tangiers bowl, Target brand aluminum foil punched with my DIY hole puncher.

Ok, now I lit the coals and played with the heat some because I really haven't used jap coals much... took a second... but I had the most vivid strawberry flavor that I've tasted so far. It was Fabulous. It started to burn a bit and I thought it might have had something to do with the foil because one of the holes in particular that I punched looked scorched... so I replaced the foil. Ok, I think part of my problem with getting a burning taste moreso is because i'm doing something wrong... Is there supposed to be alot of shisha stuck to the foil? I mean, I have this problem anytime the shisha touches the foil.

Very cool stuff.

I'm a torch user myself, but I was thinking of picking up a hotplate. They work really well, and when one of my canisters of propane goes empty, I'm always lazy and it takes me a few weeks to get out and buy a refill. No more of that with a hotplate... How much did yours cost? Just curious.

See, smoking inside... i bought a torch, but I have to light it outside... which is down stairs... and not worth running up and down to keep them lit.

Mine was $8 and change at Wally World I think it was a good investment... One of my only problems with the hot plate is that the coil is a little spaced out... but it still works.

Lmao, trust me... I debated on which of those shirts to buy... My ex visited me at work the other day and showed up with that shirt! Yay for not having to buy it and getting a good shirt period!

But anyways, guys.... And info about the shisha that sticks to the bottom of the foil.?
