critterchops
I received a hookah from hookahhookah.com 2 weeks ago and been smoking out of it daily for the 2 weeks and just found out that the hose was rusted inside that I've been smoking out of. How harmful is this for me? A two week old hookah and the hose is already rusted...Those cheap bastards!!

Also when pushing warm smoke into cool water there must be an element of evaporation? And then condensation occurs in the hose [Opinions please, this is just an idea] So any hose that is not 'washable' is likely to potentially suffer from rust? JD's 0.2p's worth. Joseph
Unless you got water in it I don't see how it could rust, but two weeks is pretty damn fast for rust to show up. I would suggest investing in a Mya washable hose. My Mya hose is the best hookah investment I have made.

DizzyGuy
MYA Wides are amazing... but in the mean time, bend your hose in half, grab the hose right above the handles, and wack it against the wall several times. Then A.) try to blow the crap out or better B.) take a vaccum to the hose for a minute. Repeat as necessary.
Macho555
I'm damn sure that inhaling rust isn't good for you, but I doubt you inhaled enough to give any type of damage. I did the same thing when I got mine, and I'm fine. And as I said in the other post its probably a Mitsuba hose. I ordered two of those, and they seem to rust as the drop of a hat.
