alyehoud
Which brand generally has the strongest tasting tobacco? I smoke cigars so I'm more used to a strong taste. So far I've only had Romman grape and peach (grape was noticably stronger than peach) and I just ordred 250g jars of Al-Fakher cappucino, apricot and cola. How are they? Skimo
Romman is bland, if you liked that you should really love AF, good shit. I personally like Al Waha and I hear Tangiers will kick you in the nutts with overpowering flavor, maybe you should try that. I'll let you know what I think tommorow
Joseph
Well, I think waha honey has a fair amount of tobacco flavor. Nakhla Zag is a good bet if you want tobacco flavor, I would reccomend that. I have never tried it, but I have heard Al Quema has more tobacco flavor then most brands
yashman19
Just for clarification, by strength do you mean strength in flavor or in buzz? I guess due to your cigars comment, you are refering to flavor strength, but I thought I would just check, since cigars are also known to pack quite a whollop in the nicotine dept as well as flavor. Edit: VV Yeah thats what I figured as well, but I guess the thread title threw me off a bit. For flavor, I'd say Fakher/Havana won't dissapoint you. Joseph
Well, he said tasting, so I assume he meant flavor.
Skimo
Did you mean tobacco taste or just a strong flavor? Nakhla Zag is pretty good, if you get an unflavored shisha smoke it without a screen or foil, I think it makes its better but the buzz seems to be way stronger
alyehoud
I meant flavor, but buzz is a positive side effect in my book.
Joseph
Well, if you put the coal right on the tobacco it would be actually burning the tobacco, and middle eastern tobacco is mighty strong from what I have heard. I bet if you put a coal straight onto some Nakhla double apple you would get quite a buzz too.
alyehoud
Would you use charcoal or natural coals to do this? Also, natural vs. charcoal - what's the concensus?
Joseph
Naturals are charcoal, as far as know. Avoid anything for BBQ though. And if you do want to put the coal right on the tobacco use Zag, or some other traditional tobacco, flavored stuff would taste like shit using this method, and it would be a waste. MilqueToast
I'm not a Nakhla fan, BUT if you add a bit of their Zaghloul to whatever you're smoking, it really intensifies the flavours strength big time. I'd give that a try. And AF Capp. is amazing.
EvansLight
well if your wanting strong buzz, your my kinda smoker so i would stay away from the washed brands unless your wanting to mix them, or are just looking for a good smoke, and no buzz. As for me i smoke just about only unwashed tobaccos, and for the most part i also like a kick in the mouth of flavour My favorite 3 brands currently are Al Waha, Nakhla, and Tangiers. Here is my personal favorites: Al Waha Orange Cream Al Waha After Nine (choclate mint) Al Waha Bounty (choclate coconut) Al Waha Mint Nakhla Mixed Fruit Nakhla Peach Nakhla Chocomint Nakhla Mint Tangiers Licorice Tangiers Blue Gum Ball Tangiers Vanilla hope that helps a bit

[LB]
Tangiers would be the strongest by what you mean i guess (producing the largest buzz, heaviest smoke, strong flavor) Nakhala would be second place id have to say cause i still get a buzz when i smokes it. As for al fakher, havana, al amir, romman, all those extra washed premium brands are very light, with thick white clouds of smoke as opposed to grayer clouds. Anpu
My strongest smoke ever - TOO strong of smoke - flavor was RICH! Tangiers Vanilla... I'm sure most, if not all his flavors will be similar. Don't even get me started on that dam buzz.... :dead face:
Yonatan
nahkla is good smoke some zag with no tinfoil and you will be satisfied (or dead).
Skimo
I thought it was pretty nice myself, I mean I almost died from all the damn nicotine but it was a nice 10 min smoke before i tapped out
Sonthert
Tangiers does make some lighter flavors, but the tobacco still tends to be strong.
