Looking for a good, DURABLE hookah.

Have you considered an acrylic Mya? I have one and it's pretty good, strong, the bottom is able to go in the freezer without much concern to chill your water, etc...
What have you been doing to keep breaking the bases?

I don't really like acrylics, but it might be the ting for you. Also, all non-washable hoses rot like that. I have a Mya washable hose right now, and its the best hookah accessorie I have bought.

What size hookah are you looking for? Are you looking for glass or acrylic?

Well, it was advertised as a washable hose, so I washed it. As for the bases, the crystal one broke while pouring warm water into it for washing (the base itself was at room temperature), and the Stargate one seperated into two halves (the shiny from the clear) when I lifted it up one day. All the other bases I've had have been glass and I've never broken one.

I'm really not very hard on these things. The harshest thing I do to a base is run warm soapy water into it. :S Seems like I've been having some bad luck... I'll definitely look into the Mya hookahs, they seem to be highly regarded.

As for what I'm looking for, big and preferably glass. Though I'm really just wondering if there's a known brand that's pretty reliable.

Some one made a mistake, or lied, about that hose. Check out a social smoke egytian, I have a regular egytian like theirs, its tough to beat traditional.

I've had really good luck with Myas as well. I don't particularly like the aesthetics of acrylics, but they are durable and smoke nicely. They are also very cost-effective.

I'm not surprised that you had difficulty with the Stargate. Rust is a big problem with them, and they are harder than necessary to clean. Every Mya I've owned is a tank. If you want a prettier hookah that is functional, the QT is less prone to being knocked over and is built incredibly well. There are a few drawbacks to the QT though, like purging and cleaning certain parts of the stem. I smoke from mine regularly and haven't experienced any real difficulties though. Either way, I'd go for a Mya.

but the dynasty is a mya... if thats not durable enough for you youre gonna need a mya acrylic. I dont know how youve managed to destroy all of those so quickly.

The Mya acrylic I have is a tank. If your looking for a durable hookah I highly recommend them. I cant believe the amount of tortue mine has gone through and is still standing.

In general, get something that's a pretty basic design. The dime-a-dozen egyptians from social smoke are basic, smoke extremely well, and are very durable.

Like most of the people above said Id go with an Mya, maybe even a Nour if you can find one

I'd go with a syrian or mya, but You've already destroyed a mya. Why dont You just buy a new base for the dynasty, its a really nice mya but be careful with the base.

I'm gonna second what everyone else is saying, there isn't a more durable well made hookah than a MYA, however if your looking for a solid traditional hookah look into the social smoke line of hookahs, my friend has there 32" egyptian and it is a really really nice piece, it'll last longer than your lungs will probably

well if what Tangiers said is true then Nour Hookahs are more durable, he said he has had it for 7+ years I think and it still smokes like new, but it all comes down to you taking care of it
