ghostofdavid
For beers, you must really try a midwestern microbrewery called Bell's and the several (all delicious) flavors that they make. In specific, my favorite is Bell's Winter White ale that is only available seasonally (stock up!). Unfortunately, they only distribute in these following states found at this website: http://www.bellsbeer.com/beerfinder.asp So, Scott from MN, you better buy a sixer and let me know how you like it! It is pricey, and depending on where I get it ranges between 9 and 12 dollars for a six pack. Because I am not made of money, I don't buy it that often. Blue Moon is an acceptable substitute, as long as I have the orange slices to compliment it. For liquor, I prefer very girly drinks. Midori Sours and/or Midori Martinis are delicious. If you haven't had Midori, you must. It is green melon flavored and very sugary. It compliments fruity flavors. For nutty liquor, please get your hands on some Frangellico. It is much more popular than what it was a very years back and has a strong dessert hazelnut flavor to it. Also, it comes in a bottle very similiar to Mrs. Butterworth syrup and it makes me laugh. Instead of Mrs Butterworth, I think it is supposed to be a trappist monk's habit or outfit. In true pirate fashion, I also enjoy fine rums bottled by pirates. Sailor Jerry's Rum wins awards for awesome designs, but taste medicore. I actually just enjoy regular ole' Cap'n Morgans. I also thoroughly enjoy Oliver's Camelot Mead. This is made just down the road from my parent's house in Indiana. http://www.oliverwinery.com/main.html . You could order it online, but they are currently sold out. Mead is the best!
