Does anyone know any good places or sites that sell hookahs and shisha in canada? Im kind of wary about ordering from the states due to the duties.

Order from MNhookah or Hookah-shisha Both will ship it to you as a gift. I woud recommend MN Hookah since they personalize it and make it look a lot more like a gift.

If you really are affraid of ordering from the US, i suggest you try [url="http://www.arguily.com"]http://www.arguily.com[/url] But don't expect to find them selling any tobacco.

the duties for the hookah won't be bad. there is nothing illegal about it. its just a piece of art or paraphanelia as far as they are concnered. you should only have to pay gst/pst + brokerage charge (5 bucks if by canada post/USPS) on the value of the item - and if they undervalue it as the gift ones should, then you might get away with not paying much

the shisha however is more trickey. as another user posted there's a duty of a couple dimes/gram imported - which can add up very quickly. locally its very expensive because they are paying the duty for you and then you pay markup on top of the duty so they get a profit.

If you're in toronto by chance, there's a couple good places on yonge by welsley, travelling opposite of the eaton centre.

I've personally ordered from hookah-shisha.com and I can happily say there were no duties! Only ordered 350g though (didnt want to push my luck too much, plus I wanted to sample), but I think there's another canuck who got 750g w/o problems
