Chaos
not sure if i get you but, on a multi hose sytem there is a stem for each hose to conect to the hookah it works just like a single hose but has more stems to be connected.. hope that helps if your talking about the air release screw thing and why they arnt on multi hoses its becuase that thing isnt really needed imo
iknewmroctopus
With multi hose hookahs there is no valve to release excess smoke. If you want to get the smoke out of the vase then you can just uncover one of the hoses and blow (its looks cool too!). There is that system for multi hose hookahs that uses valves which is used on some of the syrian hookahs sold on hookah-shisha.com... and I imagine that if you blow out one of the hoses that the other's valve sysetem(s) would act like the valve on a 1 hose hookah. I have yet to try one... but I would be very intrested to know how they work in comparison to normal multi hose hookahs.
To100YearsToLate
I have a syrian 3 hose, and the ball bearing valves are pretty cool. I just use 1 hose and have the other two set up as carbs right now.... but it works very well, just blow and the smoke will lift the ball bearings and the smoke goes out. Kofod
@To100YearsToLate have you had any probs with the outlets? I have a friend of a friend who got the "snake" and I heard from there that the autoseal was hard to suck from - any comments on that? Reason is I'm really hot on getting one of those autosealers myself - be it glyph, snake or a third from the syrian autosealers.
Mathazar
I had a Syrian Glyph auto-seal, and it was quite simply an AWESOME hookah. The ball bearings worked great, but every so often ( and I mean VERY rarely ) when I'd suck on a hose, the ball bearing would get stuck. The cure for that is to simply suck hard until the ball-bearing unlodges itself. Or you can take a piece of scotch tape, place it on the ball and pull to dislodge it from it's chamber. It really only happened once in awhile, not enough for me to want to get rid of the hookah. I sold that hookah to Gamaliel for different reasons, I was having congestion problems in my chest and I thought I was smoking too much, and I figured hookah smoking was unhealthy, so I made the mistake of selling it. The golden glyph is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I would reccommend it to anybody. The ball-bearing system works incredibly-well with a multi-hose setup
