PersianPride
I had a brief experimentation with natural charcoal before I found the excellence that is Zaghoul Galeb charcoal (see benny's review in the review section.) The main problems I had with them is that they have a nasty tendency of going out it you leave one on the ash tray. And they burn at a lower heat so you might have to adjust your technique and amount of charcoal you add accordingly.
Calcartman
my problem was they are round, and thus they roll off the bowl onto whatever is most flammable or meltable
Blue Lantern
how many nour fingers do you use for a regular bowl? all i've ever used was quicklights and i've got heat management down with them, but now im trying Nours so any advice would help. Calcartman
try breaking up the nours into 3 pieces, and i found that each one is the equivalent to a quicklight in heat production, but that could just be me. (breaking it into 4ths makes them more like japanese easylights, in terms of heat)
