iknewmroctopus
Does anyone have one of the glyph hookahs from hookah-shisha.com that they could post some pictures of? I think I might get one to replace my normal multi hose hookah but I would like to know how they look as a whole and how the etching on them looks. Mathazar
Get the Golden Glyph Hookah, because the etching on the shaft was the first thing I noticed on this very beautiful hookah. It's beauty will never cease to AMAZE you, and it makes a great centerpiece for a table. I would reccommend that you put some cloth underneith the hookah because with REALLY syrupy maassels, the syrup will drip down the shaft and stain whatever it comes into contact with. My carpet is ruined because of it. Of course, exploding coals didn't do much for the looks of my carpet, either The other thing you have to realise about the Glyph is that it's made of copper, and if it gets wet, such as from the syrup drippings, and you don't dry it quickly, then the shaft will tarnish. Just keep the shaft dry and you won't have any problems
Roketsloth
Word on the street is that copper is NO GOOD. This is from www.hookahculture.com: Did you know that smoking copper is POISONOUS?! People have died from repeated smoking from copper implements. Make sure the bowl is stainless steel, ceramic, or pyrex. I'm by no means an expert...maybe they mean just the bowl but who has a copper bowl? NERV
as long as the bowl isnt copper its all good, no other part of the hookah gets hot enogh for copper to release its DEADLY fumes
To100YearsToLate
The outside is copper plated, the useful parts are still stainless.
iknewmroctopus
With the auto-seal system do the little BBs make a noise when you draw (like the noise that is made by the BB in the blowout valve on a single hose)?
entrailsgalore
most likley. Its the save valve design, it only works in the reverse way. SO I presume it makes a noise when you inhale, but I dont think thats a problem considering your thumbs dont get tired anymore.
Mathazar
No, absolutely not, it makes no noise whatsoever.
To100YearsToLate
I've never heard a peep out of mine. If it makes noise, the bubbling is too loud for you to notice.
Mathazar
Yep, the bubbling is all you hear
iknewmroctopus
I'm sold. But I just went to hookah-shisha.com and they are all out of the gold ones!
To100YearsToLate
Get the chiller... same as the glyph but with the ice basket for 5 bucks more...
iknewmroctopus
Does the ice bucket really work (make the smoke colder and smoother) and does the ice when it melts drip down the sides?
To100YearsToLate
the bucket does help make the smoke thicker. there is some condensation that occurrs, but its not annoying.
