Brand new expensive hookah very little flavour

So yesterday my Starbuzz USA Endeavor came in i also got a starbuzz golden leaves base + a starbuzz maximus hose and starbuzz silicone phunnel bowl so me and friend were smoking hookah yesterday he brought his KM and in his it tasted how it was supposed to and strong flavour but in mine i got very thick clouds but very little flavour so i thought today id try 2 coals instead of 3 but i still got the same result i also tried small holes in foil and big holes but still the same i dont know what im doing wrong because on reviews people say great stuff about this hookah
