This is one of the coals I made a while back. These are made from mesquite that is just cut in disc shape from seasoned limbs. Finger coals are compressed and the reaction was not what I was expecting you might guess. But I was told from the time I was jst a little Scalli that anything that starts off blowing up into a lot of little pieces is not usually a good sign.
