kreyer23
Hey guys, I need your help. I'm from Germany and I'm travelling to the US (Roadtrip through CA, NV, UT, AZ) in September. Is it allowed to smoke Hookah in public? We want to visit some National Parks like Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Zion and so on. Except a fire ban or any other restrictions, is it allowed to smoke hookah? I also want to carry my hookah in my baggage. Are there any problems known with TSA? Thanks a lot! Greetings Ben
Stuie
i have flown with a hookah, you usually get stopped and checked but it's no big deal. Don't pack quicklights. I would recommend picking up coals here in the states just to avoid the hassle. Traveling with tobacco is an issue with the TSA internationally, but if you do pick it up here and fly domestically it's no big deal. Smoking in parks is usually fine unless they specifically forbid on their signs. Where are you flying into, can give you some idea on local shops possibly. kreyer23
Thanks for your answer! Yes this was also one of my thoughts to buy the charcoal + tobacco in a nearby shop. I will arrive in Las Vegas and the High Class Hookah Shop is on my way.
