Lakemonster
While I was up in DFW this last weekend. I stopped in at one of my favorite markets that deals in Hookah goodies. I try to get up there once every couple of months to shop for this stuff and stock up on all my eastern food items that are just not seen here in E. Texas. I took a pic of all I laid hands on this weekend...... including three tubs of Steves Vanilla from the party. THANKS, STEVE! Theres probably a couple things in there most of you may not have seen. First, theres the box just right of the 3 kings.... thats Moassel Saloum..... its a pretty dry version of Zagloul.... Wedged in between the Layalina sn the Starbuzz tim is a box of El Hennawy Tobaco "Al-Kaif". I smoked last night.... its just like Nakhla 2xA... just wetter. Good stuff if you are a Nakhla fan. Below that is some Jurak or Tombek. whatever the right name is.... I took the following pic with the wrapping off of it and one of the leaves taken off. my understanding is that you take some leaves and soak them in water for fa few hours.... then put a coal directly on top of the pack. Hmmmmm.. its worth a try, anyway.
PersianPride
Hey thats esfahan tobacco, the best in Iran. Yeah soak in water, then shred it into a special type of bowl. Your standard hookah bowl isn't going to work you need one that has a 'wire fence' going around the outside. Such that it can hold a lot of piled up tobacco. Mind you I've never actually done it or tried it so who'll have to experiment yourself
Thadeus
Nice little cache you got there. Which market do you go to out here?
Lakemonster
Halal Import Foods? Something like that.... corner of Collins and Pioneer PKWY.. the fresh bakery in there is amazing! FRESH HOT PITA! usually costs between 33 and 49 cents a bag.... and the olives.. damn. Theres another smaller one over on Cooper.... they got a little deli in there. pretty good falafel. Hell.... all the bread and grocery items I get in there dwarfs my hookah buys.

MR Bubble
Hey lakemonster, What days are they open? I've never been to DFW area (by car anyway), but I may be passing through there in a couple weeks on my way to and from OK City, OK. If it's close to the interstate, give me good "bubble proof" directions. MR Bubble
Pieces
Bubble, you'll have to post when you're coming to our neck o' the woods. It'll give us an extra excuse to go to Heat again.
