Anyone know where to buy a hookah table?

Recommended Posts

I think he wants a table to put his hookahs on but I could be wrong.
I personally have been thinking of a way to secure a hookah on a table or a piece of wood or plastic so it would be harder to tip over and burn carpet.  I have a coupl of idea but I'm not sure how practical they are.  I'm thinking a 2 foot in diameter circle or quare piece of wood with either some sort of tatch that coud be secured and apply preasure to 3 or 4 side of the base thus holding it in place but I have no idea what kind of latch could do that.  Also I though that getting 6-8 rods or dowels about 6-10 inches high that would be in a cirle that could just set the base into and it would keep it from tipping over, but I dont know how well it would secure the hookah becuase the main goal is to keep the coals from falling off.
If anybody has an Idea on this let me know.

Yeah im in the market for a table for smoking my hookah.  Yes i know about socialsmoke.com because that is all that came up in my search for a hookah table.  My friend has an authentic hookah table from Iran but i seem to not be able to find one online.  I want one maybe a foot high and oval shaped.  But no luck.  If anyone has one for sale or knows where to find one, help would be much appreciated.

i have a neat little table that i 'made', long story short, its
circular, about a foot tall, its a wooden disc on 3 poles on another
disc, on 3 short legs, making it have a small shelf on the bottom and
the surface on top, the shelf can comfortabley fit a box of coal
and  bunch of 250 boxes, i was originally going to use it for my
hookah but it didnt lend itself to the configuration of my room, the
only place i had to put it was behind my chair and if i leaned back my
backrest would knock the hookah over or just slam it into the wall, if
it sounds like what your looking for i might be willing to sell

traditionally hookahs always sit directly on the floor, but a table
which stood around the hookah would be excellent. that table above
looks very nice though

Ive been thinking about making one myself. My thoughts on the table are to go to a goodwill or some thrify shop and get a cheap wooden table. From there cutting out a circle a little larger than the base of the hookah. From there however far below maybe 6 inches or so add another "level" made out of plywood that the hookah would actually sit on. So i guess the bottom of the hookah or the base would just be sort of depressed into the table?

Try and make one like this it should not be to hard...
Just it wont be as nice with the engravings and so on...
But a simple one would work just as good or what I would say would be better is what ahwahoo2006 posted before me.

Can I make a less expensive and more impressive suggestion? Buy four table legs you love at the height you want. Brass twisted, ironwork, wood, whatever. Then go to your local marble contractor who will have sheets of polished marble and granite, etc. available for a reasonable price. The marble will be about 3/4" thick with a natural edge around the outside. Ask them to countersink drill for the legs, or even put it completely together for you, which they probably won't charge you over maybe $20.00 to do plus the cost of the marble slab you pick. Now you've got a great UNBURNABLE table that will be unique and likely to set off the beauty of your hookah with it's own natural polished beauty. Voila!
