quicklights? whats a good charcoal to buy?

Some people on this site, don't like these coals, I happen to have a case of them and like them. So My guess would to be order one box, or see if you can trade a few for something and see if you like them yourself.

3 Kings is pretty good imo. You may be doing this already, but make sure the charcoal is fully lit and orange before it goes anywhere near your Shisha.

I've seen people just an old coal over the one that was previously on the shisha head and wait for it to spark up. This is really detrimental to the smoke and you'll corrupt the flavour of the tobacco. you can do that in the tray, but not on the head.

Japanese coals are great imo.

Nothing beats naturals though, but that isn't practical for most home users.

I'm a huge fan of the 3 Kings. A roll of them can fit into any carrying case, they only need a lighter and last a decent amount of time.
