Al Fakher Melon Flavour = Plastic?

I'm curious..I bought a Frost recently and have noticed an incredibly tough draw on mine. How is yours? Where do you fill the water?

Sorry to hear of your misfortune with AF Melon. I've smoked it many times in the past, and it was always on my top5 from AF, so perhaps you got a bad batch? Sounds like you know what you're doing when it comes to setting up the hookah. Maybe take the tobacco out of the plastic tub and transfer it to a ziplock baggy, or a ziplock container to store in? See if that doesn't help your baccy after a week or so, just incase it was the plastic tub imparting the taste.

The Frost to me and my group of about 15 smokers all agreed that it is by far the best hookah we've smoked to date. I usually fill the water up until its about a half inch away from where the colour turns from red/blue/amber to clear. Drop in a few lemon chunks, a few ice cubes, throw it in the freezer about 10 minutes, and bam. The draw is incredibly smooth, and incredibly easy to get massive hits of smoke. That should help you out Bob, and if not... I'd check your grommets, and perhaps making sure your foil is air tight around the bowl. And Yashman, yeah I think I will transfer the shisha to a ziplock bag to get it out of the tub. Acclimate it a few hours in the bag and smoke it a few days later. Hopefully that will get some melon flavour out of it. Thanks guys
