Hi,

Kind of dumb question but, for heating some natural coals, would these work?

Kind of a dumb question but since we've always lit coals with an open flame, I just wanted to make sure. Dumb question, yes yes I know.

yeah, I use my stove to lite my naturals. My stove is the first one with the coil and it works really well. About 30 sec and the coals are glowing orange.

I have the wal-mart version of the coil model. It should work fine, I've lit japs on mine.

I doubt that the coal would be FULLY lit in 30 seconds.

I can attest to that. I use an electric stove to light mine and they are fully lit in less than 30 seconds. Just leave the stove on once it is lit.

Yes they will, I actually bought a portable stove just like that when I worked at Wal-mart for like 8 bucks. It lit all my coals perfectly, and I had it outside on my balcony in my old apartment in vegas.

Yep i got mine at Walmart as well, same price...works great! I swear by it!

Yeah, i had a thread a little while back about this... Got it at wal-mart for 8 bucks, you can't beat that.
