high_society
I have read plenty of great reviews on natural coals, even coconut ones, so I went down to the store here and bought rommans natural lemon coals. I tried to search on the forums on how to heat them but no luck. I saw a few propane torches that looked like thats what they used to start it. I dont have one at this time am I out of luck for tonight? Thanks again you guys have been wonderful helping me.
DizzyGuy
Most people just light them on the stove. Leave it on for a few minutes till it's glowing... you might have to rotate the coals once. Make sure to blow on the coal to get all the black unlit spots lit.

HAHkoo
suggest breaking it into smaller managable pieces then you light them.
high_society
yeah the whole thing about flying fire coals I wasnt thinking
Sonthert
Make sure to watch the coals when you are lighting them and, obviously, don't light them next to anything that might tend to catch on fire. Natural coals tend to spark when they are lighting. Also, peeing in a wall outlet may be dangerous. Any other safety tips that nobody really had to mention? .cOLt.45.
^^^lol Well I suggest investing on a small gas burner as they work like a charm..but for the moment use the stove..rotate the coals and keep watch on them... dont use the whole thing as its over kill and youll cough just about each hit you take try breaking it up into 4ths...thats what usually works for me
