mushrat
Swing and a Miss....STRIKE ONE. Bank of America wont give me the full amount and is unlikely to even make a counter offer. On to the next bank i guess.
Lakemonster
Oh man... that looks like prime real estate.... downtown setting it appears. well... that would probably make the rent a bit pricey... but trendy downtown spots can command the markup for the trendy bars and stuff. I can sure see that being a goldmine. Good luck with a loan........ I know thats tough sometimes.

Scalliwag
Dude, even if this does take an SBL do it ASAP. If business does start booming you will have the biz and records to prove it. Then if you need to you can bring in some other lending institutions and have your books to show you are in their best interest to work with. I don't know this *for certain* but I would fully expect that the SBL could be paid off early and you could get it over to a better loan later on. Strike while the iron is hot bro. I know I am usually always goofin when I post but I am very serious that the potential with this is something you would kick yourself in the ass over later if it passed you by. Apply with everyone you can and take the first solid deal that will get the money in your hands. I think you know we are rooting for you Oh, and Shiner said ARRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! (hey, I could stay too serious too long ya know? ) <EDIT> You may have even more options if you get the loan on your wife. Options, options options!!! I wouldn't hesitate on that option because Ms Scalli will take me for everything I have anyways if she ever tossed me out

jonny_lech
As someone from the Triable area who has been in CH many many times, I recognized where that is from the pics! That's near the Martini bar, isn't it? Right off of Franklin St. Prime location dude! Businesses can be kinda volitile right there (that one coffee shop that came and went several times...good for when I had dates with Carolina co-eds ), but I think that Chapel Hill is ripe for a hookah bar. It's a total niche that is unfilled. Best of luck to you man, and if you do open it I garuntee I will swing by sometime when I'm in town.
