Never had any problems with my hose... that sucks that yours was a bad hose though. The red covering around the base does seem to come off pretty easily huh? lol. The only thing that went really bad with my dragon hookah was it was screw together and it became stripped after about half a year because I was tightening it too tight... but even then with a wrap of tape around where the stem and base met it stayed sealed while smoking. spoolinspoon Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 I got the Oasis Ice Chamber Single Hose Hookah from Social Smoke and it was awsome as well. If you can do this. Freeze the stem and hose. Base in the freezer with a bit of water and use ice the rest of the way. Fill ice chamber and put a bit of salt. The first 5 min your going to love and the rest is just icing on the cake. Give that a shot. Its like breathing frost. That is alot of work but sounds like it would be worth it. I probably should know, but what does the salt do exactly? Why add it in with the ice?... oh wait... it makes it even colder huh? I think I heard something about that from what a friend was saying at work... like he was saying put salt on two ice cubes and grip them tightly, one in each hand... lol, he said it burns like no other! Captain Courageous Posted November 30, 2006 Author Share Posted November 30, 2006 yeah, exactly... the stem of it is really heavy. Mine never rusted after having it for over a year. The only thing that I hate most about that hookah is its curved body. I had never bought a flexable cleaning brush to be able to clean it and it never seemed to really get clean but then again I still have yet to ever use lemon juice to try to clean a hookah. I need to give that a try some day. Overall of the Nour dragon designed hookah, it is a good hookah but mostly just nice to look at... defenantly not one of the very best hookahs on the market to say the least but defenantly worth buying if you can find it really cheap... not the $120.00 that mine was priced at when I bought it.
