I have a pretty bad cough I just got about a day ago. I really wanna smoke.

Bad Idea. Even with the best filtering you can get, your throat and lungs are really tender right now, and smoking will make it much worse.

I wouldnt recommend..Even though I did..it seems I got better quickly.. however it depends on the person... I smoked with a bad cough and its almost gone if you do smoke..do NOT make it to hard..

When I'm sick smoking hookah is a lot less of a bother to my throat than smoking cigarettes. When I stay home due to sickness my favorite thing is to relax on the couch with some tea (iced Celestial Seasonings Mint is good) and some good tobacco and hookah it up while watching The People's Court and Maury and all those good shows that I miss while I'm at school. Although it's terrible for your lungs and will slow down the process of you getting better, mind you.

Psh...I sure as hell wouldnt, especially if I have that terrible congested feeling in your chest that burns...Smoking is that last thing on my mind...

I cant smoke for a month after next week...Im getting my wisdom teeth pulled and the *Sucking* that I do while smoking hookah can cause a *Dry Socket*

i usually smoke with a cold, mostly becuase i dont feel like waiting to get better before i smoke again. Plus it calms me down. Just make sure everyone uses tips so you dont spread the virus. I found a store that sells them cheap 100 pieces for 3 bucks ..right down the street.. and these dont restrict any airflow

I'll have to vote against it. To me, smoking should be enjoyable, and when you're making your cold symptoms worse it isnt very enjoyable in my opinion. But if you start having withdrawals you should say screw it and smoke it up. Or get some nicotine gum or some other trash.

if you smoked while having a cold you probably wouldent be able to taste it anyways since you're usualy all congested when you have a cold.

to Caramellanne: I hope all goes well with your wisdome teeth getting pulled. I had a ball when I got mine pulled! I mean it was a completely awesome in every way. First they did my x-rays and it was awesome to see them cause I had my tongue pierced and it was the first time I had gotten x-rays since I got it pierced and you could all see it in the x-rays when they were developed, it was cool. And then with the laughing gas they gave me I had so much fun... I was so fucked up and hi. When they were wheeling me out of the building afterwards I was all going "Weee!" and shit with my arms and legs extended out. I mean I was really high from their good drugs that they gave me. Afterwards I never had to take any of the pain killers since I never got any pain from it but I spent all my time then playing the first Silent Hill videogame as it had just been released around the time I had my wisdom teeth pulled. So yeah, I hope you have a great experiance like I did~

when i have a cough i just take some nyquill and that cures the cough and gives a nice buzz when combined with tobacco. btw GO SUN DEVILS!

yea i have tried the nyquill before.. it works damn good with a hookah smoke but then i invested in some tips because to many people smoke my hookahs

i smoked a few weekends ago when i had a really bad cold....i got better fast too haha and for me it was fine, but i guess it depends on the person....idk, why not smoke?

i am getting my wisdom teeth pulled out after thanksgiving....so i cant smoke for a week,....and i gotta Dj, and its gonna be a bitch....but w/e lol atleast ill have fun mixin' and spinnin'!

If you do...smoke mint. Ever notice how crap like Vicks is mentholated? If you get some really mentholly mint, that might actually help. Personally I feel like it really opens me up when I smoke it.

i smoked while sick the other day. it was okay, it relaxed me. the only bad thing about it was since i was congested, i couldn't taste the smoke as well, it had a weird taste. hookah i think would be miles better than cigarettes while sick. heck its miles better anyway.

I was a retard and chose to smoke while a had this cough/cold thing, and the cough/sore throat lasted for over a month after all the other symptoms went away. I shit you not, don't do it man.

I agree- smoking nearly always makes my throat sore the next day, even if im not sick.
