ikellen
I just got back in from an amazing weekend of camping, smoking, and just generally hanging out. I feel like this last weekend was a culmination of all the things I've learned here. We had in our arsenal: AW Strawberry Layalina Melon Layalina Mango Fumari White Peach All of these flavors smoked exceptionally well with various amounts of 3K quicklite charcoal on egyptian bowls through a Mya Bohemian. Anyways, I just got back and need to wash my Social Smoke Washable Hoses for the first time. What's the best method to do this? I've heard mumblings of lemon juice, baking soda, etc. but I'm looking for the easiest process and something that will dry relatively quickly. .cOLt.45.
I normally just fill it with water..beat it on something pretty hard then blow out one end.. i then pour in liquid soap and water and shake it around then rinse it out with water till the bubbles stop coming.. i dunno if it will work for you so... Caramellanne
You can try rubbing alcohol... Thats a disinfectant and it dries really fast
DizzyGuy
Beat the hose against a wall *the hose part, not the mouth tip part, duh * and try to blow the stuff out. Do this one more time... Then if you want a liquid wash, I'd say put alot of lemon juice and water in the hose and shake it all around... maybe beat it against the wall one more time... then drain all the fluid out and run some hot water through the hose... then hook it up to an air compressor and leave it there for a few minutes... that's the best way I can think of to get it to dry quickly. Luke69
I usually use boiling water. Is this ok? I though it would help dislodge stuff and kill any bacteria.
NorthEastSmoker
boiling water works great on bowls, but I'd be hesitant to use it inside hoses.. as long as they're definitely washable, a squirt of lemon juice and a little water, and swish it around.. rinse once or twice, twirl above head like a crazy carny, and hang it up for a couple days... done and done. 8)
kitefanatic
Should one worry about getting the outside wet if it's a leather hose, or is it rather...unavoidable?
