OPR234
A big cooking pan might be easier than using the whole bathtub. People have said that baking soda helps clean it out too and helps with any rust you may have.

.cOLt.45.
Hahhhahaha Yeah I laughed to!!! Uh.. so I should soak it and put in a box of baking soda?
tw!sted
A solution of baking soda and water would pretty work well; not soaking in wtaer then leaving in a box of bicarb'.
ASUSEAN1
yea most of the time depending on your hookah it is made out of stainless steal so you dont have to worry about rust. Plus jus dry it down when you are done cleaning it. The only thing i have ever had rust was the ball bearing which was kinda weird
yashman19
QUOTE (mushrat)Well..Yashman showers with his.... Ahem... What happens in my shower, stays in my shower... Anywoo, yes I bought a long narrow brush from Home Depot, which is just thick enough to make it a very tight sqeeze when used on my hookahs stem. Because it's so tight, when I pull the brush out, all the black goop encrusted inside the stem goes flying everywhere... So I figured the best thing to do would be to take the whole stem into the shoewr, rinse the stem with water, then jam the brush in and out, and when all the black particles go flying, I can just rinse the inside of my shower out. I tried this method for the first time in the kitchen, and yeah like I said, black particles/goop goes flying EVERYWHERE. That wasn't a fun time cleaning up that mess... I do this ~1/month. But after every smoke, I simply rinse everything off with water to get the goop from the bowl off, and then I scrub my bowl clean and get it ready for my next session.
