joshbrees Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 I just bought my first hookah about a month ago(it is small probably like 13-15in tall but it gets the job done for now.) I have been reading the forum for a bit now and I really want to get a MYA Bohemian Glass hookha. I have a store on eBay that will sell the MYA Bohemian that is like 28''(dont quote me on that) along with a case for it for $98.00. I figure this is a preaty good deal and might get it but would like some input first. Another question that I have is regarding bowls. I have heard the funnel bowls mentioned alot on here and really have no idea what they are, other then a funnel shapped bowl, which may be all there is to it but I would like to know if there is more. The last questiion is about shisha. I have some sampels on the way to me to try but I am very intreaged by the Tangeres(sp?) especially the caffinated line. And I often hear of some sort of mint choc. shisha. Is this mixed with exsisting mint and choclate shisha or is it a mix that comes pre-mixed. Anyways sorry for all the questions but I really am looking for some input on ways to make my hookah experience's better and get the best out of what I can get. ASUSEAN1 Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 Hmm i personally wouldnt buy it off ebay. Most hookah sites will give you a better deal and free shipping for orders 100+ dollars. Usually the carrying case myas tht price are around 22-24" tall. The mint chocolate chip you prlly are hearing of is from fumari.com. i would also recommend watermelon fumari. The funnel bowl kicks major ass and you can have a lot longer sessions without re-packing. There are some other posts about them if you want more info. Theres a lot of fakes out there though so make sure you getting them from a reliable sorce. I'd rather just save the extra money and buy from a reputable company for the extra comfort. As far as the phunnel bowl, I fully endorse them. They work absolutly amazingly, and just make everything better, after you master the differences....Tangiers is a simply awesome tobacco, I love it, but yeah, it knocks some people all over the place...and for chocmint, id go with AfterNine, its pretty damn good. Do a search here at the forum for "Genuine Hookahs". He has been banned from here for various reasons, including sketchy business practices. Please do the search and read thoroughly. B.S. lets do the math. genuine hookah sells for 98 bucks plus shipping right where myasarays is 115. but wait take 15 percent off the 115. that being 115 time .15= 17.25. 115-17.25= $97.75 so they cost almost exactly the same (actually myas a little cheaper) now the choice is whether to buy from a place whose customer service is second to none mya. and who will take care of any problems you could possibly encounter. or buy from a shmuck who got kicked off a forum because he couldnt follow rules. and who consistently messes up and doesnt fix orders. i think the choice is clear. give myasaray a call and be sure to mention that youre a hookah forum member. theyll hook you up.
