Coal Variety Pack?

Recommended Posts

With all this discussion on what is/isn't a good coal, does anyone else wish there was a place to order a variety pack? (If there is such a variety pack please let me know) I use golden's cause they were free, but now that those are running out I'm really curious and would like to try a variety without having to order a large amount at once. Just a thought, anyone else which there were variety packs of different brand and different type coals?

I'm actually thinking about doing this, just waiting to get some natural coals in stock. I thought it would be a good idea, especially with a starter kit for those new to Hookahs and the like. Just wondering what kind of variety you would like to see in a kit like that.

I copy the variety EL said, but don't know enough about the brands. It would be awesome if MN hookahs offered a variety pack with new hookahs (little tobacco, little coal) even if it was a few bucks extra. I'd love the option of buying (or getting a free) variety pack.

as im soon to be out of coals and would like to try something other than quicklites myself, i think that this "coal combo pack" is a great idea. i would totally buy one if it ever came to be.

Oh, hey Scott, this girl on the forum came up with an idea for a charcoal sampler, you know a little of several different kinds of charcoal. Maybe you should look into it.

Update#2: I mentioned it to Scott Morgan of Minnesota Hookah. I forgot to mention it to other people, again. Will put rubber band on wrist to remember.

Heh, Thats a great idea. I'd love to attempt other types of coals, but, buying a bag or box of somethign that might not work for me doesn't appeal.

Tangiers, that is the funniest shit EVER.

I just got many kinds of coals ...

- 3 Kings. (Quick Lights).
- Rollands. (Quick Lights) .
- Al-Nour (Natural Fingers) (I went to a warehouse in Montreal and bought 24 kilos of this $3.50 a kilo smile.gif ).
- Some other kind Natural Fingers but this one is more of a triangle than a round finger.
- 4 different type of Zoghal Ghaleb.

I am trying all of those now and comparing which one is the better one depending on my setup.

Update #3, mentioned it to Detroit Steve, who's got all that charcoal he doesn't want. Will move rubber band somewhere else to remind me that its not on my wrist anymore.

All I am going to say is that i am glad Sonthert is a GIRL!!!!!!

As for the coal pack, its a great idea!

I do have for trade, if anybody wants the, 6 or 7 rolls of Rolland Quicklights, and a nearly full 1kg bag of Nour Natural Coals; neither of which I use!

Yeah, but the rubber band is beginning to cut off blood flow...hurts a little, too.

Try wrapping it tighter. You know, twist it and make it go over a second time.
That always helps.
