Johnny_D
Click Here! The box shows something called the 'Al Fakher Trading Corp' But it's called Dubai tobacco ? Any experiences? JD
SanguineSolitude
doesnt look like real al fakher but who knows. i would think no though.
Donkeema
dont think so considering their actual real Al Fakher flavour is much more expensive, its probably just a rip off.
Anpu
Doesn't look like genuine AF to me... If I could see the side I'd have a better idea though.
mushrat
Now, they are calling it soemthign else, Dubai molasses, so it COULD be another line put out BY Al Fakher. Just like Coke offeres flavours and brands in europe we've never seen here in the US. Remember, El Basha is made by Nakhla, etc. So before you start saying its fake Al Fakher, you might want to think its real Dubai, made my Al Fakher. Just my .
mgcsinc
I think this might provide some insight. Go to the 'molasses by brand' part of the website, and note that they have real Al Fakher and then they also have one they refer to as 'AlFakher (copy)' which they say is a rip-off of the real stuff. Notice that the spelling of ALFAKHER with no space and all caps in their logo is the same as for the 'ALFAKHER TRADING CO L.L.C.' referred to on the Dubai packaging, so maybe it's the same (rip-off-ey) company. Lakemonster
Something about that was said long ago.... The Importer to the US for AL-Fahker filed for the trade mark "Al-Fahker" here in the united states. Al_Fahker and the importer had a falling out and sice the importer had trademarked the name here... AF was forced to market the tobacco under the name "Golden Al-Fahker" to get around the trademark thing. Anyone remember this? was the story valid? Sonthert
Read carefully...its says "Al Faker trading group."...kidding! Looks like its tobacco, but not the same brand as Al Fahker.

Guest LondonShisha
actually, I picked up a tub of al-fakher 'dubai tradin co' mint from dubai on my travels over there. I dont know if it's true al-fakher or not, but it is of real good quality. I'm not sure what the deal is with the name, but I don't think it's a fake - if a fake is a copy of another product. Place I bought it from was Carrefour in Dubai City Centre Shoppin Mall - it's a huge supermarket, so I doubt they would stock illegal (fake) tobacco??
