speel
Hey, I'm just wondering would the size of the bowl have any effect on the amount of smoke?
worr lord
It probably has an effect on how much tobacco is burned, which would effect the amount of smoke produced
pavlakos
depends on the amount of tobacco in the bowl.u have to proportion the amount of tobacco u put into different sized bowls(obviously) and the looser u pack the tobacco the thicker smoke and it makes for an easier pull.and the opposite happens when u pack it too tight;harder to pull and less smoke. thats wut ive experienced at least. anyone else got something? worr lord
You don't get an air restriction if using a Phunnel bowl and you pack a little too tight
Sonthert
More tobacco, means you can put more coal on without burning, meaning you can vaporize more stuff, making bigger clouds. Theoretically. Unfortunately, the smaller the surface area to volume ratio is, the less smoke you get per unit of charcoal used.
EvansLight
plus smaller area in the bowl means the heat is more concentrated, less room for it to spread out and around
