I got an Asahi Pentax SPII from my uncle for my birthday, but the battery is gone, and the battery that was recommended by my Professor didn't seem to help much, (the Mallory RM400 battery, which is no longer made....). I have tried several alternatives, but it doesn't seem like any of them work. It was like they weren't getting full connection, i have even tried putting o-rings around them so they fit more snug and still nothing. Help! I have a Entry level Camera Cannon SX110IS I hate using the flash because of how it ruins every picture I take. I need a tripod, but I dont think its worth it for the camera I have.
