Coffee in the base?

Anyone ever try putting coffee in the shisha base? I've been experimenting with liquids other than water in my base lately with a mate. Over the last session, he suggested trying coffee..

I am worried it would make the flavour taste disgusting. But now, I am wondering if one would feel the caffene hit?

umm, I would be scared to do that... I think the bad taste would a much more relivant point to not try it than any pleasant feelings the caffeine might be able to give you. But that's just me and I hate coffee *cringes*

i actually tried arabic coffee with iced cappucino in it and it was really good, but with straight black coffee, no milk no sugar i think it wouldn't taste good

i also tried al waha orange cream with orange juice and ice in the base and it was pretty good too

I think this would be good if you were smoking a coffee or cappuccino tobacco. I also think it would be a good idea to add some milk because it could give you thicker smoke plus it could help the flavor. I haven't tried this, but I think it would probably be really good if you like coffee.

that does sound good with the orange juice *licks his chops* the best mix that I had done before was smoking Nahkla strawberry shisha with straight strawberry/kiwi juice in the base. It was out of a mini hookah and it tasted amazing.

Coffee could be good. Could be awful, too.

Like someone already said, I couldn't see using straight black. Maybe with a little milk though...
