DizzyGuy
First off, what kind of coals are you using? Wash your hookah.... wash your hose if it's washable... wash your bowl and try to get as much crap off of it as possible... and don't over coolk the tobacco
PersianPride
al waha orange is not too bad but in my experience peach and lemon actually don't have a taste to begin with. So if it didn't taste like biting into a juicy peach don't be too disappointed.
skiracerj1
He told me he was using star brite coals, I have never heard of them, but i imagine they are cheap quick lites. Anyone have experiences with these coals that could help this guy out?
DizzyGuy
I think that they are mainly found in the UK and Australia and such... OP: where do you live?
malakas
Jesus, I hate Star Brites. The smell so bad, and as we know olfactory sensation plays a big role in tasting. It could be a problem. 26 months though....same house? Hopefully you washed everything...

But in general yes, Tangiers is going to be wetter than AW.
DizzyGuy
Tangiers is pretty wet. The coals are really old and an off brand... and when you light them, make sure to torch the whole thing so all of the gunpowder burns off. Where do you live? Three kings aren't that expensive... in fact, it's like the same for a pack of Tangiers... maybe a little more depending on where you get them. A 100 pack is nice because you'll have some for a long time, but some sites let you buy a half pack or even by the roll i think. And I'd suggest getting a new bowl if your current one is broke
Hookah Man
my friends is broken, my party bwol is perfect umm yeah i think its the coals cuz they are also mad old but i just spent 50 bux on hookah shit and i cant throw ne more money down Right now i gotta wait a bit, i might just tell my friend to go buy nakla coals or somethign

Bean
In my experience with al waha, it will lose its flavor and taste like that if you put too much heat on it. get some new coals and go easy on the heat. one and a half of a 3 kings usually works for me.
