Problems with stem adapter

Has anyone ever bough a stem adapter for a standard egyptian one hose hookah and had it work? Should i remove the ball bearing? I was having the best AF strawberry banana session last night when i decided to plug in my rarely used adapter, and it ruined the entire session and didnt work, plus the draw was way too tight. If anyone has any ideas let me know- i can post pictures if necessary

I would say yes remove the ball bearing. Sometimes things get to tight with the ball bearing.

I'm rather interested to the answer for this too...I've been wanting to pick up an adaptor for my Junior.

yea i woldnt suggest getting one macho, unless you have a mya and a corresponding mya adaper. Im gonna try cleaning out everything before i set it up again i found some gunk all over the valve cause its never been cleaned

that restrictive problem with the ball bearing is why I DRILLED one of the autsoseals out of my 4 hoser. The other 2 autoseal ports are really used as twin purge valves now.

I have always marvelled at the hose port extenders...I believe that a vent tube shaft is too narrow to use a hose port. Do you guys own them find that the hose attached to the vent port is too tight when smoking?
