mushrat Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 The first are Nours...the bag design even looks the same. Check out reviews of chopped and formed coals. Thats what those are, chopped charcaol, mixed with a cellulose binder and formed into logs of various shapes. The second are Bulk charcoal. chunks of real tree, they are irregular is shape, and you have to chop them to size with a sharp kinife, ax, or hammer. They are a bitch to light and keep lit as they go out if not drawn on or kept in piles like banking a fire. I usualy use finger coals fo soem sort, keep the bulk for special occarions.
