Hookahhub order Received [PICS]

My order from Hookahhub arrived in excellent shape and was beautifully packaged. They put so much of the airbubble stuff(not peanuts scalli) in the box that it didnt even make a sound when shaken. In case you guys didnt see the first thread i posted, There were two reasons for this order being placed. 1. because hookahhub had a great sale on (20%!!!) and 2. because hookahhookah often gets slammed on the forum for poor quality tobacco as well as employees... and well i wanna see if the tobacco part is justified. plus i had 30 bucks to spare so why not.

i ordered HookahHookah 50g tubs of
peach
kiwi
vanilla
watermelon
melon
chocolate
acai berry
margarita
mango
pineapple
key lime pie
and i got a free shot of HH cherry.
i also ordered a pair of tongs which are rather poor quality im afraid to say.
and a hose grommet set which is just awesome!!!

all that and shipping came to 33 dollars. not half bad.




Ill be reviewing these over the next couple weeks. ill probably post reviews in the review section as well as in this thread. so stay tuned! we shall see whether 12 flavors of hookahhookah can yield a decent smoke. if they dont... my friend will be getting a christmas present.

On my journey down to SoCal for Thanksgiving I stopped in Monteray and found an awesome little smoke shop that had Hookah-Hookah Shots. So I picked up Honey, Acai Berry and Butterscotch. When I get to smoking it I'll make sure I do a review.

if you love butterscotch (like i do) then you'll love that one. i wasnt a big fan of the acai berry, and i've never tried the honey.

Is that sale still going on? I really want to get one of their bases. They are probably the most attractive hookah bases on the market right now IMO.

Just curious...Hookah Hub and HookaHHookaH are the same place, correct?

i dont think theyre the same place. hookahhookah.com and hookahhub seem to be different. but im not sure if the sale is still on. you should search for it. they posted on the forum a week or two ago.

hookah hub is different as far as I know. They are a great company. My base and shisha came packed just like that. But mine was boxed once with bubble wrap, then placed in a larger box with more bubble wrap. I would love to buy from them again, but they need to carry better brands of shisha. I despise hookahhookah.

well the peach sucked... kinda smelled and tasted chemically artificial. you guys know that sort of peach skin taste. when you just eat a piece of the skin? the kinda bitter taste... they had that down perfect... just not the flesh of the peach. so they basically picked the worst part of the peach and made a flavor off of that. not off to an auspicious start on my sojurn into the HH line.

hahaha, yeah thats what I felt like I was tasting also. Cant wait for you to try all the others. You might find 1 or 2 that are good. Just wait for the smoke that doesn't even taste like wtf it says it is.

HookahHookah Peach

Setup: 22" SS egyptian, mya washable, water in base, large egyptian bowl, foil, 3kings, low expectations.
Appearance: shredded cut so small its like... i dont even know. why did they cut it this thin? tiny little strips. medium juicyness. very moist but no liquid to be seen.

Smell: like a chemical spill someone through a couple peaches into. not pleasant at all.

Smoke: unimpressive. i had to put tons of heat on this stuff to yield any decent clouds. also took forever to get going.

Flavor: well this tasted alot like it smelled. very chemical peach flavor. Its funny actually. you guys know the taste of pure peach skin? that kinda bitter taste you get when you eat just a piece of skin. they have that down perfectly. its like they decided to make a flavor based on the worst part of the peach, and ignored the flavor of the flesh entirely. not good at all.

Duration: 1 hour... thats about an hour longer than i wanted to smoke it for.

Buzz: none

Overall: 2/10 one of the poorest flavors ive ever smoked. dont buy it. seriously.

watermelon and maybe something else tonight look for the reviews.

HookahHookah Mango

Setup: see above

smell: kinda like a mango lassi. thats an indian yogurt drink. ripe mango smell.. very pleasant

smoke: still not great but with a good amount of heat i got decent clouds.

Flavor: Wow! didnt expect much from this but it was really good. tasted like a nice fresh mango. who knew HH could produce better than decent flavors. im actually looking forward to trying this again.

Duration; about 1 hour. began getting harsh. ive noticed HH burns quickly on top.

Buzz: zippo

Overall: 8/10 if it was this flavor on a normal tobacco cut so it lasted longer i would give it a 9-9.5. very nice.

yes its a mac. and no im giving it an 8 out of 10 because it deserved it. i smoked peach yesterday so it wasnt just better in comparison.

PC's and Macs both have their place. I personally am not gonna say ones better than the other since i own both and use each one for different purposes. Although pc users vastly out number mac users in general.

Sanguine, how much more heat than usual did you have to use. Can you give us a perspective i.e. 2 3kings and is the stuff pretty dry compared to most hookah maassel?
