must buy a new hookah

Recommended Posts

I have the same basic hookah in a 1 hose, without the ice chamber, they call it the engineer. It's my favorite hookah that I own. Really solid construction, and breaks down to clean really easily. It also smokes better than my 32 inch egyptian, and my buddys 36inch rotator. I'm also going to order one of these in the 3 hose model.

Well, I'm now thinking about trying to find another hookah because the chiller is not going to be available until December 4th, but only if I can find something that is high quality as well. I was looking at the Stargate from http://mnhookahs.com/product_info.php?cPat...&products_id=47 . Any thoughts? Oh, and does anyone know if it can be converted to a 2 hose? Thanks.

Taking it apart and putting it together with the screw on stuff is a hastle... and then you have to worry about the design flaw where it's prone to rust and leak easily. I guess to each his own, but I prefer other hookahs to my Stargate

if i were you id wait to get the chiller, but the stargate is a great hookah nonetheless. Go to Ebay.com and check out taqseems items for sale, or just the taqseem website i think its taqseem.com for the best deal on a stargate- he has a discount for hf members im pretty sure so you should contact him

Nice Hookah. Go for it. Great Company to buy from. All you would need to get to smoke by yourself is a rubber plug to replace the hose. Hardware stores are the bomb. Everything you need. Unless its a automatic bearing system so you can smoke by yourself.Good luck

I agree with Dizzy. They do have problems if you get a poorly made one. Call the company ask questions about it. Mr. Hookah will help you out. Thats the guys nic name.

Damm :?

I was really wanting to add a Stargate to my collection. Like you said they are cool looking hookahs. I've heard that they do require a little more maintanance, but I was not aware of the rust/leak problems.

dude i would just be patient and get the syrian chiller... you won't be dissapointed. Call the guys at hookah-shisha.com and see if they'll upgrade your shipping to 2 day or overnight if you pre-order instead of the discount for the pre-order.

don't buy a stargate over one of these. They're not even in the same league. These Syrians are either machined brass or stainless steel instead of thin stamped metal, and the glass bases are very high quality. Plus, if you get one of these, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you have and enjoy something a little bit different than everyone else on the forum has. Myas are great but they certainly aren't the only way to go... I wouldn't buy a stargate or just about any other chinese hookah though.

These Chiller hookahs have the auto-seal systems on the stem adapters, which means that no one has to worry about capping their hose, or putting in a plug when you only want one or two hoses.

Patience..... Patience.....

I guess let me clarify my statement to align with smiley... There are afew poorly made ones that I've heard about being destroyed... but my actual Stargate smokes fine, no leaks, no rust... The only part that is messed up is where the screw on joints meet, but that gets covered up smile.gif I like the Glow in the Dark ringed stem from the rotator line that I had put on my Stargate... I have to say my biggest beef with getting my hookah from Taqseem was the case... The stem can't fit all the way and the stuff moves around everywhere and I don't feel like packing a ton of bubble wrap in there. I guess I need to either A.) Fabricate a new interior out of a foam to case the stuff or B.)get a new case tongue.gif I also kinda wish that it had a lock on it, altough it's really unnecessary in the long run I guess.
