18tea
First time poster, First order with hookah company. I have read great things about Hookah Company, and heard great things about Tangeirs, so I decided to place an order. I had family coming over for Thanksgiving, so I decided to order A WEEK before thanksgiving. I live in Norcal, and Hookah company is located in Socal, I waited a few days, and nothing. I check my Fed dex tracking info, and my package was in FLORIDA!!!!!! Regardeless, family came down, and left, and I still dont have my package. Im Really upset What do you think I should do guys? skiracerj1
Well call them, shipping snafus are not unheard of, but their customer service is great, I'm sure that if you call them they'll get it all worked out really quick
SanguineSolitude
that sucks, but yeah its probably not their fault, probably the shipping companies fault.
Hookah Man
yeah its not their fault, i ordered from them last tuesday, and the package is "in transit" according to fed ex or what ever company its goin through the estimated delivery date is the 30th, so im hoping to come home to a nice box of tangiers tom
Macho555
HookahCopmany is wonderful to deal with, I've only had minor shipping problems, but they always do their best to deal with the problem. By all means, email them and they see whats going on. Fedex is crappy like that, no I'm really not surprised.
18tea
yeah, I'll call them asap.... I guess its the holidays too, and they are starting to get really busy.... oh well... cant wait for tangiers!
Scheetz
I don't understand why people feel the need to post this. You should know what to do, if shipping is messed up you contact the seller and find out what they have marked as your shipping address. Then you contact the shipping company and find out what is going on. Is the world that bad now that people cant figure this out on their own? We don't really care if your package ends up in Africa, not our problem. But you should at least know how to go about fixing it. Or, oh I don't know, ask your parents, friends, relatives, somebody that doesn't require a thread to be made. I suggest you search about smoking Tangiers if you have not tried it yet. We dont need another thread bashing him because you cant get it to smoke.
Rich
It always makes me feel better to share my frustrations with others. I can see where he's coming from.
cymptom
I've had problems with Hookah Company lately as well -- the last two times I've ordered, 4-5 days go by without any shipping confirmation, and then I receive an email from HC saying that one of my items is backordered. I complained the second time and I got a professional response (for once) saying that they would send me an extra 50 gram Al Ajamy (in addition to the one that was supposedly backordered...?) Whatever, I'll continue ordering from them at least until MNHookah gets their site up and running. EDIT: Also, if I'm not mistaken, it's standard business practice for a company to accept responsibility for shipping mishaps. Maybe you're entitled to some form of compensation? Scheetz
well, I am unsure how their shipping is run. It is either FOB shipping point or FOB destination. One means they are responsible for the product until it reaches your door, the other means as soon as it leaves their store its your responsibility. So if it is lost, I do believe you need to contact the shipping company (fedex, ups, usps) for a recovery of money to order again.

40 Thieves
Not that I expect everyone to understand customer service on this forum but any good company will work to get you your order fixed and take some ownership in the product not being received. Well at least you figured it out. I just assumed people had common sense in this world and you would go to the source of the problem. Not a third party that did not take place in the transaction. I guess I need to stop assuming things.

Sonthert
Yeah, if Fed Ex would pay off some of their own insurance claims....sorry. Yeah, call up George/Christina/Matt...they can track your package and tell you what happened. Easy, people...honest question, easy answer...lets just answer the question and not critique it. ioannisds
Yeah, shit like this happens. I sent a camera out to a friend who was in Peru for the summer, and goddamn UPS sent it to Canada. CANADA. By the time he got it, and the Peruvian authorities "examined" the contents of his package, it was literally in pieces. We laugh about it now, but back then it was crap.
